IMX® Completes Interface with Genesis 2000®

IMX® to Provide Ellie Mae’s Genesis 2000® Users with a Seamless Interface to IMX Exchange -

Houston, Texas. - April 23, 2002 - IMX, Inc., a leading provider of technology solutions for the mortgage industry, today announced a strategic alliance with Ellie Mae, a provider of Internet and software solutions for mortgage originators. According to the companies' agreement, the IMX Exchange XpressPostTM feature has been integrated into the newest version of Genesis 2000 software, version 16B. This interface will give the more than 6,000 mortgage broker companies who use Genesis software the ability to seamlessly post their loan applications for pricing and locking by lenders on the Exchange.

Through this and similar agreements with Contour's The Loan Handler®, Byte's TQSPlusTM, and Calyx POINT®, 90 percent of the U.S. mortgage broker market has direct access to IMX Exchange, without having to re-key borrower information.

"Our partnership with Ellie Mae to offer direct integration to users of Genesis 2000 solidifies IMX’s unique position in the marketplace," said Greg Austin, Senior Vice President of IMX, Inc. "With the IMX Exchange product on the desktops of 27,000 broker shops through integration with the four major broker LOS providers, the majority of loan agents and processors in the U.S. have pricing, product and lender service information at their fingertips in real time. IMX Exchange members can monitor pricing and lock loans online with nearly two dozen top tier lenders using the Exchange on a daily basis."

The XpressPost feature enables loans to be posted instantly so that users can view the products and pricing offered by the nationwide network of IMX Exchange lenders online and in real time, all without leaving their desktop origination system. IMX Exchange broker members leverage the power and ease of this patented technology to get instantaneous price discovery and electronic lock submission. This service is available to Genesis customers using all versions of Genesis 16B and later.

"Ellie Mae currently offers this functionality to users of Contour, and we now are very pleased to offer this functionality to users of Genesis 2000.  By furthering our alliance with IMX, we continue our mission of providing a complete technology solution for mortgage originators to significantly reduce the costs, inefficiencies and time involved in loan origination, increase profitability for all participants, and lower costs to consumers," said Sig Anderman, CEO of Ellie Mae. "Brokers now will have the ability to use the IMX XpressPost enhancements seamlessly through Genesis 2000. The availability of real-time pricing and loan locking is a valuable tool for Genesis brokers.

Lenders using IMX Exchange will benefit from access to increased loan volume, product depth and geographic coverage. The Exchange represents a variable cost channel for lenders, provides access to a pool of qualified mortgage brokers who have completed a thorough due diligence process, eliminates human pricing errors, and enables a lender to enter and exit markets with a few clicks of the mouse.
